Social and economic structures of population from Bukovina in interwar period
The social-economical processes of the historical province Bukovina, in the interwar period, have followed, in a great part, the broad lines of entire Romania, influenced, at its turn, by a few political figures whose conceptions, perceptions and representations would make part from the programmatic documents of the orientations and political parties which influenced, in different ways, the evolution of Romania's social and economical life and also of the new united provinces. In the following, we wish to point out the main stages of the social-economical evolution of the interwar Bucovina, and also the natural and anthropic potential, the political and cultural factor which included, in space and in time, the social-economical phenomena, as they were reflected in the media at that time, in the official statistics, in the state of mind of the minorities and of the titular population, being known the fact that the representatives and the social preconceptions can differ among the different social-professional, cultural, political, administrative categories, leaders and opinion groups.

Can the nexus entrepreneur-leader shape the transformational, entrepreneurial leader? An overview of the conceptual and gendered interdisciplinarity
Entrepreneurship is a key engine of economic growth, and entrepreneurial leadership (EL) is a crucial element of entrepreneurship. Yet, its investigation continues to be debated, and its assimilation into the greater leadership literature is limited. Although transformational leadership (TL) theory remains understudied and underappreciated, some suggest that EL is a different construct from existing leadership approaches. In addition, the relationship between TL and EL is ambiguous because TL is typically used to evaluate entrepreneurial leaders. Our research intends to contribute to the existing body of knowledge by elucidating the distinction and overlap between the two leadership philosophies and their gendered perspective. This article contributes to the nascent transformational, entrepreneurial leadership literature by reviewing the present body of knowledge addressing the interdisciplinarity of the emerging concept of entrepreneurial leadership.

The shortage of registered nurses (RNs) is a challenging situation in many developed and developing countries, and this phenomenon is expected to exacerbate in the coming years, given the rise in life expectancy at birth. Many scholars emphasize the importance of RNs in achieving quality care, preventing complications, and achieving desired medical and health outcomes. Therefore, the shortage of nurses has a direct impact on the health of the population. This study conducts a comparison between the shortage of nurses in Canada and Israel. The study found many similarities in the causes of this shortage, yet there are differences in the assignment of nurses as well as in the recruitment of foreign nurses from abroad. Further, the number of new graduates who joined the health system in Israel and Canada in recent years was constant and stable. Looking at the trends in the employment of nurses in recent years, we learn about an increase in the number of nurses employed and a flat line over the years in the ratio of nurses per thousand inhabitants in both Israel and Canada. Additional reasons for the shortage of RNs lie in the slight increase in the number of students graduating from nursing schools in both Israel and Canada. Finally, both countries need to develop the training of RNs as a result of the increasing medical complexity of the patients, which requires professional nursing intervention in hospitalization and in the community. The article also discusses the issue of increasing the supply of nurses through retention and migration policies.

Digital Human Resource Management transformation represent a reality that each organisation is dealing with these days, a situation that was accelerated by COVID-19 pandemic period. Organisations that are taking this step are determined by the benefits that the transformation could have for both employees and organisation’s performance. However, research in the field failed in offering the evidence on these benefits in relation to all type of performance. At the same time, despite the advantages brought, the process could still be a challenge for HR professionals to implement, as blending digital processes and human touch is not so easy to be done. Research on the way in which the digital HRM transformation should take place, focusing on factors that facilitate the transformation as well as on HR professionals competencies needed is recommended. Thereby, the purpose of our paper is to analyse the main concepts of augmenting HRM and to propose a future research methodology for this topic.

This paper investigates the role of coaching in driving performance improvement during the implementation of quality management systems (QMS) in a Romanian shared service center. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the study aims to answer three key questions: Could overall project implementation be improved by using coaching techniques? Can coaching techniques enhance overall project implementation? Was coaching a relevant tool for the core project team? And could coaching methods be used to support the development of a quality culture? The findings demonstrate that organizational coaching played a crucial role in enhancing employee engagement, designing solutions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Coaching interventions facilitated the overcoming of resistance to change, clarification of roles and responsibilities, and development of necessary skills. Leadership endorsement and a structured coaching framework were identified as important factors for achieving success. The current research contributes to the existing literature on coaching for performance improvement in QMS implementation, specifically in shared service centers. It offers practical insights for organizations aiming to implement QMS effectively and leverage coaching as a tool for driving performance improvement. The study emphasizes the need for tailored coaching approaches in alignment with the organizational and cultural context.

Universities play a fundamental role when it comes to professional life and for this purpose, they focus on innovative forms of pedagogy that stimulate the development of students' skills and their greater adaptability to the requirements of the labour market. The present paper is triggered by the importance and need to address the Service Based Learning (SBL) method in the field of administrative sciences as a link between student-centred pedagogies, promoting students' social responsibility and improving their insertion on the labour market specifically for the Romanian public administration that has the duty to satisfy the general interest established by law, by reporting on the impact of adopting a Government Decision which approved the operating of pre-university education units with pilot-status, experimental and application units. The paper highlights the fact that the institutionalization of the SBL method is necessary, being a present-day and appropriate approach as future generations of students seem to be favouring the experimental and applicative aspects in education, so SBL will become a good tool for organizational promotion meant to attract future candidates trained according to the newly launched educational approach.

Starting with the 1970s, major European cities successfully added arts and culture to their mix of urban renewal strategies. When art is part of the vision for a better city, streets are transformed into open-air galleries, buildings become alternative environments for creative expression, and the quality-of-life increases. This positive transformation tends to attract newcomers with higher income levels, which can lead to gentrification, a phenomenon which negatively affects local communities. Finding the equilibrium in this balancing act demands carefully planned urban regeneration strategies, aligned with local contexts and flexible enough to address the various needs of the long-term inhabitants.
